From www.columbiamt.com this is a short video of an automated Dot Peen marking system loaded from a gravity chute then stopped metered and clamped marked and transfered to eject blue steel conveyor. Part is a metal EGR valve
This one worked as its supposed to but it was tough to seal it properly but thats because the egr pipe was hard to secure as well , not enough space to move your hands around on my 98 camry's intake side anyways. Make sure you buy the proper gasket or it will leak somehow and that won't be pleasant.
I specifically wanted a Standard Motor Parts EGV350 but I received instead an EGV667. I have a '74 Blazer which has a 1989 TBI 383 roller cam stroker motor and Holley TBI intake manifold. The TPS on the throttle body hits most EGR valves and according to Holley, the EGV350 EGR valve has a narrower top and won't hit the throttle position sensor--which is why I wanted this part. Unfortunately, you sent the wrong one and provided no return information or customer service number on your invoice.
This part cured the check engine light and the engine "bucking" attributed to the EGR check engine code that I was getting (can't remember what it was off the top of my head).
Put it in, fired up the van (05 Dodge Caravan) and it worked. Disconnected battry for awhile to reset codes and the light has not come back on - has been off for about 2 weeks. No more weird engine "bucking" at low speeds either.
so far, this part works perfectly. Note: I had to call the dealership service dept to determine if my car has the XZZ option code. I purchase this due to a check engine light and a code of P0404. After installation, my check engine light went off, and the codes are clear. I'll keep my fingers crossed that this one lasts longer than the factory-installed one (only made it 66k)
The EGR valve we received was faulty, so we had to go ahead and get another one locally since the car was apart, but the company we purchased it through was very nice about it and gave us a full refund.
Picked it out, ordered it, installed it, it works! Yea! Great price, best I've found on the net. We'll see how long it lasts but so far so good. Definitely would recommend.
So far this EGR valve has worked fine in my 1994 firebird 3.4 liter. AMAZING price considering this product goes for at least $220 anywhere else. Remember to get a new gasket to replace your old one when installing it. Thanks Amazon!
hey guys , i need your help again , basically i did a block off plate on the egr valve hoping i wont get anymore bogging and puffing issues , but it still occurs every time i drive and since i am in stop in go traffic most of the time the car is basically useless. bogs horribly and puffs still from idle and all the way up to 5k rpm sometimes. - this time tho since i put a block off plate , i hear a rapid ticking noise when i accelerate and it disappears when i decelerate  i dont know why but even before all this ( cleaning the egr valve , and block plate ) he car ran and it purred, i only cleaned the ports in the first place for the hell of it, not to make it worst =/ other things are ok, my timing is fine, i have fuel and spark in all four cyl
